Inside Sales Executive / Sales Administrator

Our client is a highly successful Indigenous Tech company that is rapidly scaling their business. They strive to provide technical leadership, that helps customers optimise and enhance their organisation. The successful applicant will be result orientated, self-motivated, and dedicated to your own personal success. This person will need to focus on building sales pipelines and relationships with new and existing customers. You will enjoy maintaining strong customer relationships, providing a first point of call for customers, and working with a global support team. The role is a combination of supporting the field sales team around day-to-day client activity and sales admin, whilst also doing your own direct selling into your own directly assigned small to medium sizes customer accounts. Based in Dublin.


  • Promote and sell company's products to its clients and prospective customers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and new prospects (this is achieved by following up on inbound leads and online evaluations; proactive cold calling; and following up on outbound marketing campaigns)
  • Sales administration assistance to assigned sales team including:
  • Customer Backlog ownership & management.
  • Customer proposal and large bid assistance and preparation.
  • Sourcing competitive products and solutions.
  • Vendor engagement around deal registrations, event attendance and quotation
  • preparation.
  • Co-ordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and internal technical service groups.
  • Contracts and Subscription renewals - quoting, closing, and processing
  • Maintain customer data/records including updating all activities, contacts, opportunities, and correspondence within our customer relationship management system.
  • Negotiate contracts, together with terms and conditions of business
  • Present periodic report and accountability on the inside sales activities
  • Engage in forecasting, planning, and account resource allocation and strategy
  • Make calls and/or web-based presentations to support sales and manage product positioning strategies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven inside sales experience within the IT industry in a customer focused environment.
  • IT product knowledge is a requirement.
  • Experience working in a Sales Channel such as manufacturers, distributors, consultants, etc
  • Highly motivated person who enjoys taking the initiative and backing themselves to succeed.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail around using internal systems, processing paperwork etc is mandatory and must be proven.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
