Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team within a leading precision manufacturing company based in Dundalk. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment efficiency.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams and mentor apprentices.

Criteria

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
• Experience with CNC machinery and robotics is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or OEE methodologies is desirable.
