Overview

A leading food manufacturer in Co. Meath is seeking a Maintenance Electrician (Night Shift) to support a high‑volume production facility. Working on a fixed night shift across Monday-Friday, you will provide electrical and mechanical support to ensure safe, efficient operation of all production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across machinery maintenance, installation and modification.
• Carry out detailed maintenance tasks including calibrations, PMs and troubleshooting.
• Complete both planned and reactive maintenance work orders.
• Input accurate data into preventative maintenance systems.
• Support continuous improvement, upgrades and fault investigations.
• Respond to breakdowns, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
• Uphold strong safety and GMP standards at all times.

Criteria

• Fully qualified Electrician with strong maintenance knowledge.
• Mechanical experience is an advantage.
• 3-5 years' experience in FMCG or high‑volume manufacturing
• Strong electrical/mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Experience with pumping systems, heavy processes and high‑speed packaging equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Computer literacy; CMMS experience (Pemac advantageous).
  

Reward

• €26.75 per hour 30% shift allowance
• Night shift hours:
• 11pm - 7am Monday to Thursday
• 9pm - 4am Friday
• Full‑time, permanent role
