An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified accountant to join a highly successful private investment and asset-backed group with a diverse international portfolio and significant growth plans.

Working directly with a senior finance leadership team, this role offers exposure far beyond a traditional financial accounting position, providing involvement in financial reporting, treasury, tax, audit, acquisitions, property and renewable energy investments, and strategic projects across multiple jurisdictions.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal move for a Big 4 or Top 10 trained accountant seeking a first or second move from practice, or a finance professional looking to broaden their commercial experience within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

You'll join a lean, high-performing finance team supporting a large portfolio of businesses and investments across Ireland, the UK and Continental Europe. The role offers direct exposure to senior decision-makers and ongoing corporate activity, making it an excellent platform for career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Statutory accounts preparation and audit coordination
• Group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
• Treasury and cashflow reporting activities
• VAT, corporation tax and compliance support
• Bank, lender and investor reporting
• Support on acquisitions, due diligence and transaction projects
• Involvement in finance systems and process improvement initiatives
• Liaison with international advisers and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
• Ad hoc commercial and financial analysis for senior leadership

About You

You will ideally be:

• ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified
• Practice trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 environment, or possess strong financial accounting experience
• 1-4 years PQE
• Strong technically with excellent financial reporting skills
• Advanced Excel user
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
