Overview
We're recruiting an Evening Shift Maintenance Technician for a well-established and growing manufacturing operation in Co. Meath. This is a standalone, hands-on role focused on keeping plant, machinery, and site assets running efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Reporting into site leadership, you'll take responsibility for maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement across all equipment onsite. This role combines day-to-day maintenance with involvement in projects, upgrades, and optimisation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance across all plant equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support CMMS updates
Criteria
- Relevant mechanical and/or electrical qualification
- 3 years' experience in maintenance within a production/manufacturing setting
- Strong fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning systems
- Ability to work independently in a shift-based environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
