Overview

We're recruiting an Evening Shift Maintenance Technician for a well-established and growing manufacturing operation in Co. Meath. This is a standalone, hands-on role focused on keeping plant, machinery, and site assets running efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Reporting into site leadership, you'll take responsibility for maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement across all equipment onsite. This role combines day-to-day maintenance with involvement in projects, upgrades, and optimisation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance across all plant equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support CMMS updates

Criteria

• Relevant mechanical and/or electrical qualification
• 3 years' experience in maintenance within a production/manufacturing setting
• Strong fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning systems
• Ability to work independently in a shift-based environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
