Project Manager - T&D Department (Nationwide)
Our client is experiencing continued growth and is now looking to recruit a Project Manager to support their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Department across nationwide projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with internal management and design/build teams to coordinate and report on project status.
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and conduct regular site audits.
Track and manage project budgets, production, and cost goals.
Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Identify and manage project risks and critical dependencies.
Lead meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to drive progress.
Ensure weekly subcontractor meetings cover safety and training.
Monitor quality audits and resource allocation.
Requirements:
Trade qualification (Apprenticeship) or relevant Engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management.
Valid Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely).
Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
Experience with electrical substation or complex T&D infrastructure projects.
Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT literacy.
Familiarity with BIM technologies is an advantage.
Flexible and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset.
