
HR Business Partner - 12-Month Maternity Contract

A leading organisation in Dublin is seeking a seasoned HR professional to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact people strategies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational goals.
Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organisational development.
Support and advise on change management initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations, performance management, and engagement matters.
Identify opportunities to enhance business performance through effective people strategies.
Lead complex ER cases, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
Coach and support managers on performance management, development planning, and career progression.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and organisational values.
Promote a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with Learning & Development to identify skill gaps and support targeted development initiatives.
Drive engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, and retention initiatives.
Support leadership capability development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Facilitate talent reviews and workforce planning processes.
Provide HR analytics and workforce insights to support decision‑making.
Monitor key HR metrics and recommend actions based on trends.
Support the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and systems.
Stay informed on HR best practice, regulatory changes, and market trends.
Build strong relationships with leaders, managers, employees, and HR colleagues.
Collaborate with Recruitment, HR Operations, and Reward teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Participate in HR projects, initiatives, and organisational change programmes as required.
Degree in HR, Business or related discipline (essential)
CIPD or equivalent professional accreditation (preferred)
Significant experience in a senior HR advisory or partnering capacity within complex, multi-site environments
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and establish trusted relationships across the business
Deep working knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations frameworks and contemporary HR practices
Proven track record in leading organisational change, talent development and strategic workforce initiatives
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with confidence
Strong analytical mindset, leveraging HR data and insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
Familiarity with project-driven, engineering or construction sectors is a distinct advantage
