Due to continued growth my client wishes to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Cork

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Senior QS and/or Commercial Manager

· Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports

· Supporting the management of applicable subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants

· Assisting with reporting on project budgets and variations

· Distribute and track invoices to various project owners / leads for approval

· Respond to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner

Specific Requirements

· Tertiary Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Trade Qualification or similar

· 1- 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector.

· Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.

· Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.

· Good communication skills and high computer literacy.

· Full license and own reliable transport.
