Finance Manager

Location: Cavan / Northeast Region

The Opportunity

A leading Irish food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support a large production facility. This is a key role within the finance team, partnering with operational leaders to drive performance, provide commercial insight, and ensure strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support product costing and commercial decision-making.
• Monitor capital expenditure and evaluate investment projects.
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance procedures.
• Assist with audit and year-end processes.
• Partner with site leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Excellent analytical and business partnering skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and support operational decision-making.
• Manufacturing, food, FMCG, or industrial sector experience is advantageous.
