Accounts Payable Manager - Newly Created Role | Hybrid Working Available

Our client, a rapidly expanding engineering company backed by private equity, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing finance team. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for an AP Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment

Duties:

• Manage and mentor the AP team, ensuring efficient allocation of tasks.
• Standardize and streamline AP processes to support growth.
• Prioritize key accounts and reduce creditor days.
• Oversee accurate and timely month-end close activities, including reconciliation of the creditors ledger to supplier statements.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Financial Controller and liaise with Procurement to enhance AP operations.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing an AP team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong track record in process improvement and automation.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
