CSA Project Manager - Industrial & Pharma Projects
The Opportunity
A well established, multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy in Dublin City is looking for a CSA Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects for blue-chip industrial and pharmaceutical clients.
This is a true leadership role. You'll be the primary coordinator across Architecture, Civil & Structural, and Mechanical & Electrical disciplines. You'll own everything from fee proposal to project close-out, with real accountability for programme, quality and commercial performance. Projects range from large-scale developments to small and medium-scale extensions, refurbishments and fit-outs within live operational facilities.
You'll report directly to the Directors and have a genuine voice in how the practice grows.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading projects from inception to completion within highly regulated industrial and pharma environments
- Owning project financial performance, including fee management, cost tracking, forecasting and commercial risk
- Preparing fee proposals and variations, and building long-term client relationships that drive repeat business
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams using BIM/CDE-led workflows, programme-led delivery control and in-house checking procedures
- Managing sub-consultants, design information flow, RFIs, deliverable trackers and registers
- Overseeing tender and contract documentation, administering Building Contracts and reviewing subcontractor technical submittals
- Leading client review meetings, internal design meetings and attending construction meetings and site visits as required
- Applying your Architecture or Civil/Structural expertise to inform design coordination, risk management and technical decisions
- Mentoring junior staff and delivering internal CPD
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Degree in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong knowledge of Irish statutory requirements and procedures
Desirable
- Chartered/Registered status (RIAI or Engineers Ireland)
- Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical environments
- Accredited Project Management certification (e.g. PMI, IPM)
You are: a confident communicator with excellent organisational and leadership skills, comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities, and energised by working in a highly specialised, collaborative sector.
