Financial Accountant - Ballymount

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will support month‑end close, financial reporting, statutory accounts, and ongoing process improvement across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet accounts for several entities
• Reconcile balance sheets, including intercompany accounts
• Maintain strong bank, payroll, and cashflow controls
• Analyse and report key cost lines, partnering with budget holders
• Drive process and controls improvements
• Support annual budgeting and statutory accounts preparation
• Liaise with external auditors
• Produce financial KPIs and present monthly reports
• Provide timely information to internal stakeholders
• Support finance projects and supervise team members as required

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 3 years' PQE
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple tasks
• Confident analysing numerical data and producing accurate reports
• Strong relationship‑building skills internally and externally
