Maintenance Electrician - Wexford

Overview

A major food production group in Ireland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their dynamic team at their Wexford facility. This is a permanent, full-time role in a fast-paced, automated environment where adaptability and cross-skilled expertise are key.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults on automated production lines and ancillary systems.
• Monitor and maintain performance of processing and packaging equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Perform and document planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Uphold quality standards across the production and maintenance areas.
• Engage in ongoing training and cross-skilling initiatives.

Criteria

• 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical or electrical background; food/FMCG experience preferred.
• Proven ability in fault finding, problem solving, and working independently.
• Relevant trade or diploma qualifications.
• Willingness to work a flexible 5-over-7-day schedule.
