The Opportunity
A Tier 1 Contractor with operations across Ireland and the UK is recruiting Site Managers for projects across Leinster. You will take day-to-day control of site operations, running safe, high-quality and programme-driven delivery, and working closely with the Site Foreman, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and EHS Team.
This is a role for an experienced main contractor Site Manager who sets the standard on site: safety first, quality built in, and strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and statutory bodies. You will work on challenging projects within a digitally enabled, BIM-driven environment.
About the Client
Founded in 1952 and still family-run, this contractor has spent more than 65 years setting standards in design and construction. A BSI-verified BIM Level 2 Tier 1 Lead Contractor, they deliver across education, healthcare, commercial, residential and industrial sectors, and their work has been recognised with multiple Contractor of the Year and Project of the Year awards. Quality, integrity and care for their people sit at the centre of how they operate.

- Site logistics and welfare: manage team offices, welfare facilities, subcontractor and loading areas, and site roadways and logistics, working with the Site Foreman, Project Manager and EHS Team to keep them compliant.
- Quality: implement and monitor QA/QC to standard plans and procedures, prepare and update Inspection and Test Plans using BIM, issue NCRs, manage and close site-specific QA sheets, link site activities to space management QR codes, and monitor workmanship to a high standard.
- Project Management Plan and environmental compliance: implement and maintain the PMP for your section of the works, generate System Records showing compliance, and ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Plan.
- Programme: manage subcontractors' short-term programmes, contribute to the weekly progress and programme report, record daily diaries and site labour hours, and highlight delays and their causes.
- Site control: review, comment on and approve RAMS with a secondary signature from the Project Manager, and ensure everyone entering site is inducted, briefed on relevant RAMS and has valid CSCS cards and certificates, as well as a good level of English.
- Commercial awareness: be conversant with drawings, specifications and subcontract scopes, call off materials and record goods received, provide site records for cost control, and ensure instructions to subcontractors and daywork sheets are properly approved by the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
- Stakeholder relationships: maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders, liaise with Building Control and statutory authorities, and manage public and adjoining owner liaison and site security.
- Leadership: support your Manager and the staff under your control, and continue to build the quality of the company brand through a professional approach at all times.
