Role Overview

Wallace Myers International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing specialist team delivering mission-critical Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects across Dublin and surrounding regions. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value projects requiring robust, resilient, and highly regulated mechanical building services solutions.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and proven experience in the design and coordination of mechanical services for high-performance environments, including Data Centres, Pharma manufacturing, cleanrooms, laboratories, and other critical infrastructure.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years' experience designing mechanical building services systems, ideally within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or other mission-critical environments
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, chilled water systems, redundancy strategies, and plantroom design
• Experience working within regulated environments, with an understanding of GMP, validation, commissioning, and resilience requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport

Desirable Experience

• Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership
• Strong experience using Revit BIM and coordinated 3D design environments
• Exposure to fast-track project delivery, phased construction, or live-site upgrades
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale, technically complex projects
