Job Title: Project Manager - T&D Department

Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects within their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division. This leadership role involves full lifecycle project responsibility - from planning and resource management through to delivery, stakeholder engagement, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships with clients from project initiation to final handover.

• Coordinate closely with internal teams, design, and build partners to track and report progress.

• Enforce strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols, including audits and performance monitoring.

• Control project costs and production outputs to align with business objectives.

• Deliver all projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Actively manage risks, propose solutions to mitigate delivery impacts.

• Monitor outcomes, track dependencies, and manage critical path milestones.

• Lead regular progress meetings with internal teams, sub-contractors, and clients.

• Ensure quality audits are carried out per the agreed plan.

• Manage resource allocation to optimise productivity and efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification via apprenticeship or degree in engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years' experience at project manager level, preferably in electrical infrastructure.

• Certified in Health & Safety management (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).

• Experience managing electrical substation or high-voltage infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional team leadership.

• Familiar with project planning tools and methodologies.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with BIM technologies.

• Strong communication, adaptability, and organisational capabilities.
