VAT Manager - Kildare (Hybrid)

A leading construction and engineering group is seeking a Senior VAT Manager to oversee Irish and UK indirect tax compliance and advisory matters. This permanent role is based at the head office in Kildare and reports to the Head of Tax (UK&I Division).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead VAT, RCT, and Intrastat compliance across Ireland and the UK.
• Develop and improve VAT reporting systems and controls.
• Advise on cross-border VAT issues and business transformation projects.
• Liaise with Irish Revenue and HMRC.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, treasury, and global tax teams.

Ideal Candidate

• ACA/CTA (or equivalent) qualified with strong Irish & UK VAT knowledge.
• 5 years' experience in indirect tax within a multinational or advisory setting.
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and influence across teams.
