Project Manager - T&D Department (Nationwide)
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead major projects within their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Department across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the client liaison from project initiation to handover, maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.

• Coordinate with internal management, design teams, and subcontractors to plan, track, and report on project delivery.

• Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies, codes of practice, and project-specific safety requirements.

• Manage project budgets, financial tracking, and cost control to meet predefined goals.

• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while actively managing risks and developing mitigation plans.

• Lead and attend all project-related meetings with clients and internal teams.

• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and control key deliverables that impact timelines.

• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure weekly meetings include training and safety reviews.

• Ensure site Quality Control audits are carried out in accordance with design specifications.

• Manage and allocate resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Trade or engineering qualification.

• 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in electrical infrastructure or construction.

• Relevant Health & Safety certification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely).

• Proven track record of delivering complex electrical substation projects.

• In-depth knowledge of PM methodologies and tools.

• High-level stakeholder and team management skills.

• Experience working on high voltage (HV) projects and strong understanding of engineering best practices.

• Strong IT literacy, especially MS Excel; awareness of BIM is a plus.

• Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Strong focus on continuous improvement and team development.
