Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: West Dublin
Hours: 39 hours per week, 12-hour shift pattern (days & nights)
Salary: €71K plus strong benefits

Overview

Join a leading high-volume food production environment as an Electrical Maintenance Technician. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent rewards and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, PLC, and mechanical troubleshooting on production lines and equipment.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance using CMMS systems.
• Install and maintain electrical machines, PLC systems, and related components.
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace parts, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support production teams to achieve performance targets.

Criteria

• Recognised electrical qualification with strong PLC programming experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
• Multi-skilled with mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, PLC data, and use electrical test equipment.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility for overtime when required.
