Health & Safety Manager

The Role
You'll lead all aspects of site Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance while driving a strong safety culture across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Irish H&S legislation, company standards, and customer requirements
• Develop and continuously improve safety systems, policies, and SOPs
• Lead incident investigations and manage statutory reporting (HSA, insurers, internal)
• Drive improvements in unsafe acts/conditions through analysis and Kaizen initiatives
• Act as the main contact for audits (HSA, insurance, customer)
• Manage training, inductions, permits, contractor controls, and competency records
• Oversee emergency preparedness (fire, ammonia, drills, response teams)
• Lead safety meetings and performance reporting

Qualifications

• Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH / QQI Level 6 )
• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation
