Maintenance Technician - South Dublin
Overview
This is a genuinely excellent opportunity to join a high-quality life sciences site in South Dublin.
You'll be part of a well-supported facilities & maintenance engineering team, working within a modern R&D and GMP environment. The role is predominantly preventative, technically interesting, and balanced across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The Role
- Carry out 75% preventative / 25% reactive maintenance across site facilities and equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot a 70% mechanical / 30% electrical asset base
- Support R&D and GMP areas, ensuring compliance where required
- Maintain equipment including lab infrastructure, utilities and specialist systems
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and support root-cause investigations
- Manage and coordinate external contractors and service providers
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality and documentation standards
- Log and manage work via CMMS and maintenance records
Criteria
- Trade-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in a regulated environment (GMP, pharma, biotech, medical devices or similar)
- Strong hands-on maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working with external vendors and contractors
- Organised, proactive and safety-focused
- Someone who enjoys preventative work and improving asset reliability
