Overview

A leading FMCG manufacturer in North West Dublin is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their expanding engineering team. Working Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, you'll support a busy automated production environment, carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance to keep high‑speed equipment running to optimum performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site utilities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
  • Support production teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
  • Carry out electro‑mechanical repairs on PLC‑controlled systems.
  • Record maintenance activities, update equipment records and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical problems.
  • Contribute to cost‑reduction and energy‑saving projects.


Criteria

  • Senior Trade Qualification or relevant engineering diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within food or high‑volume manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skillset, including PLC fault finding.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work effectively on own initiative.
  • Experience with maintenance systems/software is an advantage.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.


Reward

  • Salary €48,000 - €55,000 (DOE).
  • Monday-Friday daytime hours (8am-4:30pm).
