The person we are looking for will ideally have extensive experience delivering commercial projects in the range of €2M-€50M and can effectively coordinate the working parts of a project. This role will see you in liaison with the internal cost and site teams assigned to the project, consultants on the design/management side and the client. While your role won't necessarily hold QS functions, it would be ideal for you to be fluent in financial management and live-tracking the ongoing costs of a project.
The role is with a well-respected Irish builder whose history across the country spans over 80 years and holds many notable projects to it's name. There is a heavy element of family culture here and you your hard work and technical excellence will be rewarded with endless support from capable site teams and healthy, long-standing relationships with quality local sub-contractors and suppliers. The operational structure here will see you working in conjunction with a Project Director and have a Senior QS parallel to you whilst being supported from below by multiple Site Managers.
The project itself is located in South Dublin and is a commercial office building project with a 36-month delivery program and is surely going to be one to enhance your CV. Although central, this particular site is not riddled with logistics issues and is well set up for ease of entry by trades and material deliveries, so the small intricacies are not likely to bog you down. This is a permanent role that will see you contributing to many more notable builds long after you've delivered this one. In short, please apply if you've got the following:
-5 years in a commercial Project Management role where you've had full-package oversight
-Construction-related tertiary qualification(BSc Construction Mgmt, BSc Civil/Structural, BSc Quantity Surveying)
-The ability to build and maintain relationships at both the site and external stakeholder level
-A natural fluency for tracking project costs and progress
-Proven ability to program and execute complex construction projects
-Leadership qualities that will see you up skilling those working among you
Remuneration for this role will be above-market and will include a vehicle, generous holiday allocations and an excellent culture. You'll be represented by a brand that projects a true Irish success story and that is constantly attracting top talent both from within Ireland and those wanting to return home from overseas.
