Financial Accountant

My client a multinational organization are looking to recruit a strong Financial Accountant initially for a 6 - 12 month contract this role would suit a Finalist or recently qualified accountant that is immediately available.

Duties:

• Assist group reporting under US GAAP and local GAAP
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Assisting with accounts receivable
• Preparation of VAT reporting
• Supporting a number of property accountants in other functional areas
• Assisting with group audit queries for a number of entities across Europe
• Liaising with P2P, O2C and R2R functions
• Contribution in the accounting and internal control systems, and the production of financial statements.
• Work on integration projects and other finance projects
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required.

Skills:

• 2-3 years' experience in similar roles, in a multi-national environment.
• Experience of IFRS, UK/Irish GAAP & US GAAP is preferred
• Part-qualified accountant, while not essential, is an advantage
• Understanding & working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley preferable
• Strong systems knowledge and intermediate/advanced Excel skills are required
