Your New Company

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be joining a consultancy based in Cork that due to growth in project pipeline are now seeking to add to their team of skilled project managers and quantity surveyors. This consultancy has a strong team with a variety of experience with the directors taking on hands on approach to live projects and working closely with the remainder of the team to deliver projects to the highest quality and standards. Projects remit across Ireland and globally in some instances.

Your New Role

As a Quantity Surveyor you can expect the usual duties to include prepping of tenders, estimates, contract administration etc You won't just be running data analysis and running reports on the latest KPIs and financials, you will also get to conduct site meetings and see the reality of the project. This is a role that will suit a keen eye for detail, understand client's obligations and be commercially minded to win business.

The Requirements

You should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related degree pathway and have QS experience of 4 years minimum post graduation. This role is for a competent QS looking for that next step in responsibility in their career. Key skills like being able to use CostX, extracting quantities from drawings, budget and presentation skills will all be tested at interview. This role will give you plenty of autonomy and be trusted to organise your day appropriately to keep projects moving on time and within budget.

Job Benefits

Our client is based in Cork, ease of transport for commuting with plenty of access points via bus or other forms etc. They are a household name in the construction industry with some great large scale projects across Ireland to take under your belt. Salary can be discussed upon application, but a rough guide would be between €50K-€70K..
