Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician - North Dublin (Day Shift)

What You'll Do

• Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor a skilled maintenance team, driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage proactive maintenance schedules to optimise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Hands-On Support: Provide expert electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting across the facility.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production and quality teams to meet operational targets.
• Inventory & Contractor Management: Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate with external service providers.
• Project Involvement: Support factory upgrades and contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and all relevant regulatory standards.

What You'll Bring

• Recognised electrical trade qualification (Ireland or UK).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Bonus skills: PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, panel building, instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

What's in It for You

This permanent day-shift role offers a competitive salary ranging from €65,000 to €70,000, with overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x rates. You'll have the flexibility to choose between two shift options: 9:00am to 5:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The benefits package includes 21 days of annual leave (increasing to 25 with service), plus 10 bank holidays, pension contributions, paid sick leave, and employee discounts on company products.
