Overview
An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its technical team at a modern, highly automated production facility in Dublin 22. This role suits a hands‑on technician with strong electrical capability who enjoys working in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment. The position operates on a continental shift pattern.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Lead first‑response actions during equipment breakdowns and provide clear reporting through SAP and shift documentation.
- Implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Support health & safety compliance and maintenance standards during each shift.
- Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with technical projects, equipment installations and ongoing operational enhancements.
- Participate in shift handovers and required team meetings.
- Monitor spare parts usage and communicate requirements to management.
Criteria
- Electrical qualification with strong mechanical competence.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, use a multimeter and diagnose electrical and sensor‑related faults.
- Experience within an automated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP).
- Flexible to support call‑out or overtime when required
