Overview

An established and growing manufacturer in the FMCG sector is seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their Dublin-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional to work in a fast-paced production environment, supporting a wide range of automated and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults across robotic cells, conveyors, belt systems, ovens, cooling systems, and packaging machinery.
• Replace mechanical bearings, service motors and gearboxes, and maintain pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold safety standards.
  
  

Criteria

• Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent mechanical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with automated systems and industrial machinery.
• Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (early and late).

Reward

• Competitive salary: €60,000 - €70,000
