Assistant Accountant

Part-Qualified Accountant - Office-Based | Study Support | Industry Opportunity

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join a busy finance team in a full-time, 100% office-based role. This position offers study support and is ideal for someone coming from practice who is looking to make the move into industry.

Duties:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Reconcile bank and ledger accounts
• Support intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain financial records and accounting systems
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
• Participate in training and development activities
• Help meet group reporting deadlines

Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Internship or work experience in a finance role
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Progressing towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
