About the Company:

Our client is a Dublin-based Asset Management Company and part of a well-established European banking group with a strong digital proposition and a broad, integrated range of financial products and services.

The Asset Management arm is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland as a UCITS & AIFM Management Company with a MiFID top-up, and manages a substantial and growing book of assets under management. It specialises in fund-of-funds, single strategy funds, and structured solutions funds, with all core functions - Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Legal - based locally in Dublin. The business has grown steadily since launch and continues to expand its fund range across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically capable professional to lead the development of data-driven reporting and business intelligence capabilities across the organisation. You will bring a strong background in business intelligence, data management, and analytics - ideally gained within a Big 4 consulting or advisory environment - along with experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or another regulated environment.

You will design and implement reporting solutions, develop scalable data models, enhance data governance, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders through advanced analytics and visualisation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Finance Database in Snowflake, including counterparty data and quality checks on data inputs
  • Transform input data into dashboards and analytics using Snowflake
  • Support the CFO on various projects, including financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Monitor management company profitability, cost allocation methodologies, and expense management
  • Develop and maintain robust data models and reporting datasets; establish data standards, controls, and reporting best practices
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and management information reporting, including executive-level KPI dashboards and performance frameworks
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting through automation and digitisation using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX
  • Support integration of data from multiple systems and sources
  • Automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes using SQL, Python, Power Query, and Power BI

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5-10 years' relevant experience
  • Advanced Power BI development skills, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query
  • Snowflake, SQL, and Python experience desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

What's on Offer:

  • Genuine career growth and professional development paths
  • A dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team environment
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
  • Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage
  • TaxSaver and Bike to Work schemes, plus educational sponsorship and professional membership support
  • Discretionary performance-based bonus
