Supplier Quality Engineer - Contract Role

€75000 - €90000 per annum

Core Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical team member within cross-functional teams responsible for supplier management activities.
- Demonstrate strong technical capability in commodity management and supplier quality processes.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding technical material queries.
- Support supplier selection, qualification, and audit activities.
- Investigate material quality issues and collaborate with Quality, Procurement, and Production Units to resolve and disposition nonconforming product.
- Promote and ensure adherence to Quality System requirements within the supply base.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Receiving Inspection, and Production Units to ensure all components meet specified requirements.
- Ensure effective supplier corrective actions are defined, implemented, and controlled.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on Supplier Management system requirements.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Supplier Management policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess and approve supplier-requested process changes.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Level 8 qualification in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
- Previous experience in a Supplier Engineering, Materials, Quality, or Engineering Project Management Role.
- Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork & collaboration is a key competency for this role.
- Ideally experience of working in a regulated environment.
