A well-established packaging manufacturer in County Cavan, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician to step into a leadership role within a dynamic and safety-focused production environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a skilled maintenance team with a focus on electrical systems.
- Oversee both preventive and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
- Contribute electrical expertise to capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
- Coordinate and manage external electrical contractors.
- Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability.
Criteria
- Fully qualified electrician with up-to-date certifications.
- Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, controls, and safety protocols.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
