Due to continued growth across multiple project streams, our client is now seeking a Senior Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post‑Professional Diploma experience and proven delivery of high quality Irish architectural projects.

The Role

The Senior Architect will take on a significant design and project leadership role within a multidisciplinary environment that spans architecture, interiors, planning, design certification, assigned certifier responsibilities, and accessibility compliance.

The successful candidate will work across a broad range of sectors, including:

You will join a collaborative studio recognised for its integrated design process and strong cross‑sector expertise.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead design development from early concept to detailed design and construction stages.
• Prepare and oversee planning applications, design reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
• Oversee quality assurance, project timelines, and design consistency across all stages.
• Attend and lead client meetings, internal design reviews, and site inspections.
• Mentor and supervise intermediate architects, assistants, and graduates.

The Requirements

• Professional Diploma / Master's qualification in Architecture (RIAI/ARB/RIBA pathway or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑Professional Diploma experience, including substantial contributions to Irish building projects.
• Strong design leadership skills with excellent conceptual, technical, and visual communication ability.
• Proven experience delivering projects through planning, tender, and construction phases.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and relevant architectural design tools.
• Strong understanding of Irish planning policy, building standards, and project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership capabilities.
