Quality Control Technician Monaghan

A food manufacturing company based in Co Monaghan is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support daily quality checks and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Quality & Food Safety systems.

Hours

• 6:00am-3:00pm (standard) Mon- Fri
• Occasional 8:30am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine QC checks: raw materials, finished products, weights, labels, temperatures.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Conduct hygiene and GMP audits.
• Assist with customer, third party, and BRCGS audits.
• Investigate customer complaints and support root?cause resolution.
• Identify quality and process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Support production teams on food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and report on Quality KPIs.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and digital reporting.

Knowledge, Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' food manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
• BRCGS experience essential.

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with good time?management and organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem?solving ability.
• Proficient in computer applications and reporting systems.
• Full clean driving licence and own transport.
