Site Clerk / Document Controller
Role Overview
- Location: Cork, Ireland
- Company Type: Established Construction and Housing Development Company
- Role Type: Full-Time / Permanent (as standard)
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Admin: Administer health and safety documentation and maintain site registers for the site safety team.
- Handover Prep: Prepare comprehensive handover files for new property purchasers.
- Snagging Coordination: Coordinate property snagging processes and manage purchaser handovers smoothly.
- Logistics & Deliveries: Coordinate site deliveries, track material records, and manage overall site logistics.
- Subcontractor Liaison: Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding site access, requirements, and documentation.
- Document Control: Keep all project files, records, and site documentation accurate and up to date.
- Financial Support: Assist with processing weekly payroll and handling weekly payment runs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative abilities with high attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior knowledge of construction processes or housing developments is a strong plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar office or site administration role is preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong skills will be considered.
- Education: Relevant certifications or qualifications in business administration, office management, or construction studies.
