Responsibilities
As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to machine breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on PLC-controlled systems
- Supporting production teams to meet performance targets
- Participating in continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
- Maintaining accurate records in the CMMS system
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards
- Mentoring junior technicians and apprentices
Criteria
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A relevant trade qualification (Electrician or Fitter)
- 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
- Familiarity with high-speed automation and PLC systems
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work 12.5-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights
