Responsibilities

As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for:

• Responding to machine breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on PLC-controlled systems
• Supporting production teams to meet performance targets
• Participating in continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
• Maintaining accurate records in the CMMS system
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards
• Mentoring junior technicians and apprentices

Criteria

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• A relevant trade qualification (Electrician or Fitter)
• 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
• Familiarity with high-speed automation and PLC systems
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work 12.5-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights
