An established and rapidly growing manufacturing organisation in Enniscorthy is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to support its busy production and packaging operations.
This hands-on role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and contributing to a safe, efficient, high‑output environment.

The position starts on day shift and will transition to a 2-shift rotation (earlies/lates), offering an additional 20% shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and fitting on production and packaging machinery.
• Support breakdown response and daily operational requirements.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Assist with mechanical adjustments, changeovers, and equipment optimisation.
• Contribute to site safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities.

Criteria

• Time-served or qualified Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Confident working with production or packaging equipment.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A reliable, hands-on team player with a strong safety and quality focus.
