About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our friendly and well-established nursing home located on the Navan Road, Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to residents

• Carry out clinical assessments, care planning, and evaluations

• Administer medications in line with NMBI and HIQA standards

• Supervise and support healthcare assistants and junior staff

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider MDT

• Promote dignity, respect, and independence for all residents

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse on the NMBI register (or in the process of registration)

• Excellent clinical and communication skills

• A genuine interest in elderly care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of HIQA standards and best practice in residential care

• Flexible and reliable approach to work
