Maintenance Technician - Industrial Equipment in the Entertainment Sector

Our client, a leader in industrial equipment within the entertainment sector, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their high-performing team. This is a full-time, hands-on role that includes seasonal shift work and offers the chance to work on-site with cutting-edge machinery in a fast-paced, fun, and safety-focused setting based in County Meath

Responsibilities

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will:

• Execute preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns swiftly and effectively.
• Provide technical support, update equipment records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC programs.
• Monitor machine performance and proactively address any issues.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers on installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Participate in cross-skilling and ongoing training to enhance your technical capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records using the AUXEL maintenance management system.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and site protocols.
  

Criteria

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• A Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in mechanical automation and maintenance fitting, or a relevant engineering qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing or plant environment.
• A multi-skilled mindset with strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and PLC control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
