Job Title: Electrical Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Our client, a leading construction contractor, is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support commercial operations on large-scale construction projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Manager and be responsible for subcontractor management, valuations, and cost reporting within the electrical package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Commercial Manager on all project-related commercial matters.

• Provide contractual advice at both project and general levels.

• Manage subcontract packages, including procurement, payment approvals, and financial tracking.

• Identify opportunities to improve margins by maximising revenue and controlling costs.

• Prepare internal valuations and regular cost performance reports.

• Track project budgets and assess variations.

• Negotiate and finalise terms with subcontractors.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline.

• 2 years of post-graduate experience with a Main Contractor or Developer.

• Experience working on large commercial or residential construction projects.

• Solid knowledge of subcontractor management and commercial workflows.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.

• Willingness to work 3 to 4 days per week onsite in Dublin.
