About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join their team based in Galway. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists to ensure the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Accurately measure, package, label, and record medications.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer queries related to medications and health products.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
• Process prescription orders using pharmacy software systems.
• Support the pharmacist with patient consultations and ensuring the safe delivery of medications.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist with the preparation of extemporaneous medications and compounding when necessary.
• Keep up to date with pharmacy best practices and protocols.

Essential Criteria:

· IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is essential.

It is a late night pharmacy so salary will reflect that.

• 1 Saturday in 4
• 1 late night per week
