We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join a dynamic field service team headquartered in Portlaoise. Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will:

• Install, maintain, and service a variety of plant and equipment including pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, and pipework.
• Support the installation of new projects and equipment across customer sites.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Criteria

We're looking for someone with:

• A mechanical background (e.g. mechanical fitter, maintenance fitter).
• A recognised qualification or time-served apprenticeship (FÁS, City & Guilds, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with pumps, oil burners, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding.
• A full, clean driving licence and the ability to work independently.
