Financial Controller - Ireland & UK
An international company is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across its Irish and UK entities, consolidating monthly reports for the parent company. This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic oversight and requires some travel to the UK office.
Consolidate monthly financials for UK & Ireland; lead month- and year-end close.
Manage all finance functions: cash flow, billing, AP/AR, payroll, WIP, FX, revenue recognition, and audits.
Lead and maintain the transition to a new SAP ERP system.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and internal control standards.
Oversee HR functions for both regions.
Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Proven experience in group-level financial control.
Strong knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP & IFRS; multi-currency experience.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proactive and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
