A leading agri‑product manufacturer in Derry / Londonderry is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their high‑performing production team. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, keeping equipment running efficiently and ensuring production output is maintained to the highest standard.
Duties
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control systems.
- Support the smooth running of a high‑output production line, responding quickly to faults and minimising downtime.
- Interpret electrical schematics and complete planned maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation, spare‑parts usage and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance.
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.
Criteria
- Recognised electrical qualification.
- Experience in a maintenance role within a production or process‑based environment.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Team player with good communication and organisational abilities.
- Flexibility for overtime during peak periods.
- Desirable: Forklift experience (training can be provided).
