Overview
A leading, high-volume manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its on-site engineering team. Supporting a fast-paced production environment, this role plays a key part in ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
This is a shift-based role working as part of a rotating three-week cycle, offering strong earning potential through premium rates and overtime.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across all site equipment
- Lead and support preventative maintenance activities and scheduling
- Diagnose issues across production machinery, controls and automation systems
- Complete work orders efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Test, inspect and certify electrical installations as required
- Maintain a strong understanding of all equipment and systems on site
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and compliance procedures
Criteria
- Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience
- Strong experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machinery, process systems, controls and automation
- Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance is advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours including shift work and overtime
- Full driving licence
Reward
- Salary of €66K (including shift premium)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate
- 3 Week rotating shift pattern, no nights and only 1 Saturday morning shift in every 3-week cycle.
