Join a respected fit-out and joinery business in Co. Down that is expanding its drawing function. They're looking a CAD Designer to work across their design teams, turning ideas into accurate, buildable drawings.

You'll sit between design, production and site, making sure what's drawn is what gets made and installed. It's a hands-on role for someone who likes seeing their work come to life.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear, detailed production and site drawings for client approval.
• Prepare drawings that give the workshop what it needs to keep production moving efficiently.
• Support installation teams with tailored drawings that make fitting smoother on site.
• Attend site surveys and capture accurate measurements through sketches, photos and video.
• Contribute ideas to the design process, helping shape innovative and sustainable joinery and upholstery pieces.

Criteria

• Proven experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and SWOOD.
• Previous experience in a design or drawing role within fit-out or joinery.
• A third level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Competent in Excel.
• A motivated, ambitious approach with a drive to improve processes and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills, able to work with colleagues across design, production and site.
