Maintenance Technician - West Dublin

Overview

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations at a large food group's cutting-edge bakery in west Dublin. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, automated environment, ideal for someone with strong electrical engineering skills and a knack for mechanical problem-solving. You'll work on a continental shift pattern, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance engineering activities during your shift.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to the highest standards.
• Log all work in SAP and contribute to shift reports.
• Implement permanent fixes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with teams on technical projects and equipment installations.
• Support refrigeration plant maintenance when required.

Criteria

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with solid mechanical skills.
• Proficient in using multimeters and reading electrical schematics.
• Experience in automated factory environments; food/refrigeration a plus.
• Strong communicator, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Comfortable with shift work, call-outs, and overtime.
• Computer literate (SAP, Microsoft Office).
