Maintenance Technician - West Dublin
Overview
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations at a large food group's cutting-edge bakery in west Dublin. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, automated environment, ideal for someone with strong electrical engineering skills and a knack for mechanical problem-solving. You'll work on a continental shift pattern, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance engineering activities during your shift.
- Diagnose and repair equipment to the highest standards.
- Log all work in SAP and contribute to shift reports.
- Implement permanent fixes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure health & safety compliance across maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with teams on technical projects and equipment installations.
- Support refrigeration plant maintenance when required.
Criteria
- Qualified Electrical Engineer with solid mechanical skills.
- Proficient in using multimeters and reading electrical schematics.
- Experience in automated factory environments; food/refrigeration a plus.
- Strong communicator, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Comfortable with shift work, call-outs, and overtime.
- Computer literate (SAP, Microsoft Office).
