Overview

A well-established and growing manufacturing business in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive operation that is investing in its facilities and expanding its maintenance function, offering long-term stability and development.

You will become part of a close-knit maintenance team currently consisting of 4 engineers, with plans to grow further. The role operates on a day shift basis across two patterns, providing a strong work-life balance in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support across a busy manufacturing and production facility
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimise downtime
• Work across electrical and mechanical systems on production and packaging equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with production teams to optimise equipment performance

Criteria

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
• Ideally a multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical competencies
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability, including experience with PLC systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement
• Good awareness of health & safety standards

Reward

• Salary: €60,000 - €62,000 (depending on experience)
• Day shift role:
• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 8:30am - 5:00pm
