Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple group companies

• Analysis and reporting of variances against budget and forecast
• Prepare and develop KPIs for senior management
• Ensure full Revenue compliance
• Assisting with VAT, C&E, Corporation Tax & Employer statuary filings
• Assisting with annual audit & liaise with external auditors
• Contribution to group reports and financial consolidation
• Identify & implement process and internal control improvements

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised professional accountant qualification with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-site environments highly desirable

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge in accounting
• Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Sage, Workday Adaptive Planning and SQL based in-house packages (set up and maintenance) an advantage
• Advanced excel skills essential
• Excellent communication skills
