Overview

A leading FMCG manufacturer in South West Dublin is growing its shift maintenance team and is looking for four Maintenance Shift Technicians. You will join a highly automated, large-scale food production site where uptime matters.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of maintenance cover on your shift, responding quickly to breakdowns and leading from the front when issues arise.
• Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults to a high standard, with a focus on permanent solutions rather than quick patches.
• Deliver planned and condition-based maintenance to keep automated equipment reliable.
• Log all work and shift activity accurately in SAP and report back to management daily.
• Support projects, installations and continuous improvement initiatives alongside the wider team.
• Run structured handovers at the start and end of every shift.
• Track spares usage and keep the Manager and Planner informed
• Champion health and safety standards across the maintenance function on your shift.
  

Criteria

• Qualified in electrical engineering, with solid mechanical skills to back it up.
• Proven experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Confident using a multimeter, reading electrical schematics and tracing sensor and control faults.
• Food or FMCG experience is desirable
• Comfortable working a continental shift pattern, with flexibility for callouts and overtime.
• Competent with SAP and Microsoft Office.
